Introduction:

Hi Classroom Partners!

To introduce ourselves....we are PEDAL for Change, a not-for-profit education organization founded to aid students like you in increasing your global perspective on the impacts and realities of environmental change. Our goal at PEDAL: People for Environment, Diversity, Action, and Learning is to work with and challenge you to utilize sustainable living methods, instigate environmental collaboration principles, and build global relationships.

We hope that you will use us and our project as a resource to learn more about Environmental Justice. We will help by showing you examples of and issues concerning Environmental Justice in South America as we travel from Ecuador through Peru and Bolivia to Argentina.

You are all leaning about and facing similar issues at home, in your classroom, and throughout your communities. Our PEDAL for Change team will help you to relate the things you are facing to those seen globally and help you to find new ways toward solutions!

Good Luck this year!!!

  1. Dear Pedal for Change people,
We have watched your video about Le Hesperia and we think that you are doing some very hard work, some examples of your hard work are chopping those weeds we also see the children planting seeds that shows that they are learning about sustainability early on in their lives. That is a very good thing because then they are a step ahead and will be much better using resources later in their lives!
    Sincerely,
    Otis and Stephan =D
